Youth Services At the Colusa One-Stop, you can receive a variety of services to assist in reaching your future goals.
Our work experience programs (paid and unpaid) will assist in the development of valuable employment skills such as job search strategies, resume writing, preparing for interviews, and much more: • Receive career guidance
• Basic skills assessments
• Interest assessments
• College/Vocational preparation
• Vocational trainings
√ Enrollment fees provided
√ Supportive services provided (clothing/uniforms,mileage,books,parking permits,test fees,licensing fees,etc.)
• Work Experience
√ Interest assessments for job placements
√ Supportive services for job appropriate attire
• GED preparation assistance
** Must be eligible for WIOA services
Our Independent Living Program (ILP) provides foster youth with essential life skills needed to transition from foster care to adulthood. All young adults participating in our ILP class will also: • Gain leadership skills
• Life skills
• Career skills
• Computer skills
• Learn everyday business etiquette
• Identify key resources in the community
• Participate in community service projects
