| POSITION SUMMARY:
Plans, drafts, and schedules all construction repairs, additions, and new structures for approval by Management. Coordinates and directs the design, planning, construction, maintenance, and alteration of equipment, machinery, buildings, and other facilities. Assures maintenance of the structural, electrical, and overall integrity of the facility, outbuildings, and grounds by scheduling work to be performed and training crew members in safe performance of tasks.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
*Drafts budgets, and scheduling of facilities modifications including cost estimates, bid sheets, layouts, and contracts for construction and acquisitions.
*Formulates and coordinates program specifications, requirements for proposals and contracts, and associated documents.
*Oversees the coordination of building space allocation, layout and communication services.
*Inspects construction and installation progress to ensure conformance to established specifications.
*Acts as liaison to public utility, environmental and service agencies.
*Provides schedules, reports, and other documentation as required in a timely manner.
*Schedules performance of jobs as directed by General Manager.
*Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
*Four (4) year degree desired.
TRAINING AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
*Six (6) years construction experience.
*Two (2) years supervisory experience.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Computer skills
*Proficient in Microsoft Office. |
