The Sun Valley Group is hiring 100 employee team members for its Arcata operation. Positions are full time, year round agriculture employment. Sun Valley Group is a leading national supplier of cut flowers and has immediate openings. Workers will perform planting, harvesting, bunching of flowers and packing flowers for shipment as well as other related duties. The Sun Valley Group will be conducting interviews in Colusa County within the next few weeks. The One-Stop in Colusa will collect applications on behalf of the employer. Employment with Sun Valley includes medical insurance after 1 year of employment, vacation benefits after 6 months of employment, and a 401 (k) after 1 year of service. Wage to begin is $8 an hour with many incentives. They are also offering some assistance with relocating.
